Jess and Andi live about 20 minutes away from each other in the countryside just outside London. They met by chance and started helping each other with self-tape auditions, sharing ideas and creating scenes to show casting directors what they could do.
After helping each other with self-tape auditions, they decided to create something of their own.
Not Expecting This Trip was born, their first short film together as actors, co-writers and co-producers.
Sometimes the best things start close to home.
Jess trained at the Guildford School of Acting, completing a foundation acting year and a three-year BA in Acting. She is a National Youth Theatre alumna and, from the age of eight, trained at the PWA Academy of Theatre Arts. After a decade of training, Jess decided it was time to create her own work.
